In the memory of the Golden Jubilee of our school in the academic year 2008-09, sports events like hand ball, throw ball and chess competitions were constructed and prizes were distributed in November 2008.Our primary and Hr Sec Schools celebrated its Golden Jubilee year and 107th Kamarajar’s Birthday on 20.02.2009. The chief Guest of the function was the Honorable Central Deputy Minister of State for Social Justice and empowerment Thiru.D. Napoleon opened and the stone pillar embedded with our school Emblem Elephant on it. In the next day function Madurai Nadar Maha Jana Sangam`s General Secretary Thiru.G.Karikolraj who was the chief guest presented the school Golden Jubilee Magazine to the Proprietor of Aachi Masala A.D.Padma Singh Isaac.
With the help of Arima Sangam, a sum of Rupees one and a half lakhs spent to fix a water purifier to provide clean drinking water for our school students in the academic year 2009-2010. It was inaugurated on 16.11.2009 by the Chennai Educational Officer Thiru.B.A.Naresh.
In the academic year 2010-2011, our physical Educational Department organized the Chennai District Girls Sports Academy competitions. The valediction function was held in Nehru Stadium on 19.11.2010. The morning session was presided Thiru.Dharma Rajendran Deputy Director of Education Department. The evening function was presided by Thiru.Ma.Subramani, Chennai District mayor who gave away the prizes to the winners. During the academic year 2011-2012, our school management provided 64 tables and chairs to the school students. It was from this academic year, the government of Tamilnadu implemented the scheme of distributing free laptops to students who appeared for 12th std Board Exams.
Our School advisor Thiru.T.Sudalaimani Nadar along with his wife Thirumathi S.Kanagamani, sons, daughters-in-law and daughter donated the 62.5 K.V Generator to our school at the cost of Rs.4,40,000/- During the academic year 2014-2015, Tamilnadu Government free laptops were distributed to the 12th std students. The class rooms were white washed; black boards were replaced with green boards which are used in colleges.
The south side of the primary school building was renovated at a cost of Rs.4,50,000/- The school playground was uplifted with sand at a cost of Rs.1,50,000/- considering the welfare of our school students, at 32 places, cameras have been fitted at the cost of Rs.3,00,000/- A RO plant with osmosis process has been fitted at a cost of Rs.1,50,000/- for providing clean water to our students and teachers.
Our school located in the heart of Ayanavaram has been providing quality education to all irrespective of caste, creed and religion. It has always dedicated itself to the cause of education of the future leaders of our great nation India.
